Keeping Hydrated in Hot Weather

It’s been a HOT Summer this year! Did you know your skin can release up to 3 gallons of sweat in hot weather? Remember to hydrate especially when you are outdoors. But exactly how much water should we be drinking? The National Academy of Medicine recommends letting thirst guide your water consumption but also advises 15 cups for the average man and 11 cups for the average woman. If these numbers seem crazy, don’t worry — this also includes water you consume in food. Most of us don't drink enough water on our own so remember to fill up your water bottle every morning to help you keep track.
