A Time for Change
The last month has been historic and I feel like I am now just coming up for air. I am grateful to share that last week @specificbeautyskincare made a generous donation to @skinofcolorsociety in support of the society's mission to increase research and decrease health disparities in skin of color through education and mentorship. I believe that racism is a public health issue. Organizations like @skinofcolorsociety play a critical role in reducing racial disparities in medicine. Recent events have taught us that we are in a critical time for change. I am hopeful that we will heal and will finally work together as a nation to change the landscape of our country for the better.
