Estee Lauder fragrance is iconic but did you know she struggled to get it into stores? When a manager of the prestigious Parisian Galleries Lafayette refused to stock her products, Lauder "accidentally" spilled her Youth Dew on the floor during a demonstration. Women who smelled the scent when they walked by began asking where they could purchase the product. The manager quickly changed his tune and ended up placing an order. Lesson learned...where there is a will there is a way!
